We're drawing nearer to the huge Americas Cardroom Online Super Series (ACROSS 2011), which will offer players $150,000 in guaranteed money and prizes. The ACROSS 2011 prize money will be spread out over the course of 20 poker tournaments, and the highlights of this huge Americas Cardroom event will be the $50,000 Main Event and Thanksgiving Warm Up tournament. Here is a look at what all you can expect from the ACROSS 2011 event.

$50k ACROSS Main Event - As the name implies, this Main Event tournament will offer a $50,000 prize pool, and it will take place on December 4th at 4:05pm ET. The direct buy-in will be $75 + $7.50, but those looking for cheaper routes into the Main Event can play in the ACROSS satellites that are currently running at Americas Cardroom.

$25k Thanksgiving Warm Up - Those looking to play poker on Thanksgiving should definitely remember the $25k Warm Up tournament on November 24th at 9:00pm ET. To compete for the $25,000 prize pool, you can either buy directly into this tournament for $50 + $5, or play in satellites as cheap as $2. Keep in mind that everybody who plays in this tournament will automatically qualify for a Special FreeRoll on November 25th at 3:00pm ET; this freeroll gives out 10 free seats to the ACROSS Main Event.

Side Contests - The ACROSS event will feature a number of interesting side events such as the King of Cashing, Multiple Cash Bonuses and the Bubble Boy Bonus. The King of Cashing will award the top 10 overall ACROSS point earners with $15k Guaranteed DS Sunday seats. The Multiple Cash Bonuses contest refers to how everybody who cashes in at least two ACROSS poker tournaments will automatically be entered into a special $1k freeroll. The Bubble Boy Bonus will reward the bubble boy of each tournament with either their buy-in back, or Frequent Player Points.
