If there’s anybody who knows the value of a live tournament, it’s got to be Doyle “Tex Dolly” Brunson. The father of Texas Holdem and live poker legend is behind Doyle’s Room, the online poker room which offers several packages to the 2009 Irish Open, one of Europe most popular online poker events.

Each one of these packages is worth $7,000 and includes the following:

1. The buy-in to the Main Event itself, worth €3,500.
2. $1,400 which will be transferred to your Doyle’s Room account to cover the expenses you may incur with transportation and anything else that may come up.
3. 4 nights in the City West Hotel in Dublin from April 10th to the 13th.

The City West Hotel, where you’ll be staying is situated in an area surrounded by golf courses and it is one of the best places for poker in the country indeed. Live satellites will also be available for the event.

In order to qualify for a package you have to be at least 18 years old. You will have to show a valid ID when you are about to be seated so there’s not much point in underage people playing for a package at all.

Those who cannot travel to the event will have to forfeit their seats only and they will receive the rest of the prize.

The Irish open is set to feature a prize pool of more than €3 million. Winning a package will be possible at Doyle’s Room for as little as $3.
