Devilfish Poker Sending Players to EMOP Bulgaria
The European Masters of Poker is a poker series with a difference. Just like already existent tours the European Masters of Poker will visit some of the most beautiful cities around Europe, but unlike many of them the European Masters of Poker series will be catering to the regular poker player, not the big spender. With buy-in on most European tours ranging between $5k and $10k, for many it's a satellite or nothing; the EMOP tour is going to put an end to that by offering a high quality series of tournaments at low buy-ins with smaller fields. The first event ran in Tallinn between February 20th and 22nd, attracted 248 players, had 18 payout place, and was won by Johanna Pyysing of Finland for €69,440. The event was deemed a success by players and organisers alike, and the second leg will be running in Varna, Bulgaria between April 15th and 18th. The event will take place at the Hotel Casino International at the Golden Sands Resort, and approximately 300 players are expected to turn up. The direct buy-in for the 4 day Main Event will be €1,000, but with Devilfish Poker you could be getting there for much less.
There are daily satellites running through Devilfish to Weekly Qualifiers, starting at just €2. If you're not successful in the satellites you can buy straight into a qualifier for €100; the Sunday qualifier guarantees 10 packages whilst the Wednesday qualifier guarantees 5. The packages include the buy-in for the main event and approximately €700 towards travel and expenses.
