The Grand Series of Poker running though bwin is nearly upon us, and the qualifiers are already up and running. The GSOP can be divided into 2 sections; the main events and the Grand Slam. The main events number 16 in total, at least one running every day between Sunday April 12th, and Sunday April 26th. With a good mix of pot limit and no limit, re-buys and no-rebuys, the direct buy-ins range from $50 up to $190 whilst the guaranteed jackpots run up to $350,000 for a few of the main events and $1,000,000 for the Grand Slam. The Grand Slam will see the 16 winners of the GSOP Main Events meet qualifiers from the leader board, meet winners from the Grand Slam qualifiers, meet those who will be buying directly; this Freeze-out tournament will be held on May 3rd.

Daily qualifiers for the $150 + 12 GSOP main events are already underway. The qualifiers have an average buy-in of $20 and most are capped at 300 players each. Those successful in the No Limit Texas Hold'em qualifiers will find themselves with a $5,000 grand Slam tickets or entrance to one of the 16 main events.

So with over $3 million in guaranteed prize-pools over the course of 14 days, the Grand Series of Poker is definitely worth a visit, and the qualifiers running now are the best way to be a part of it.
