Blackjack is typically known as a skill game that takes lots of practice and learning before one can win major money. This being said, world-famous socialite and actress Paris Hilton doesn't really fit the mold of a highly-successful blackjack player. However, she could have fooled those at the Wynn Casino in Las Vegas after a very good night on the tables.

The reason why Hilton was in Vegas was to celebrate her 31st birthday. And during the celebration, she chose to play blackjack with her friends. Amazingly enough, she managed to earn $30,000 in blackjack profits during the session. It's unclear as to what stakes she was playing or the bet sizes being made, but whatever the case may be, she won a ton of money. After winning this large amount of money playing blackjack, Hilton sent the following tweet:

Just won 30k playing blackjack at Wynn Las Vegas! YES! Birthday girl's luck! I love gambling!

Like we discussed before, Hilton is not traditionally known as a good blackjack player, and it's very unlikely that she knows enough strategy to lower the house edge to 0.5%. However, this story goes to show that anyone can win money in blackjack if luck is on their side.

Going back to Hilton, one of her biggest claims to fame is being the great granddaughter of Hilton Hotels founder Conrad Hilton. She has also gained a big reputation as a partier having been spotted at numerous clubs and parties across the world. Some of the 31-year-old's acting credits include the FOX reality series The Simple Life and the TV show Paris Hilton's My New BFF.
