It's only been two and a half months since the Horseshoe Cincinnati Casino opened. And the Horseshoe Cincinnati has already caught five people cheating in their casino.

The five unnamed perpetrators are believed to have cheated in blackjack and craps. At this point, no details have been released on what cheating methods they used or who the perpetrators are.

More details should be made available this Tuesday, May 28th, 2013, when Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters holds a press conference. During the conference, Deters is expected to reveal the indicted parties along with the suspected cheating methods.

As for the Cincinnati Horseshoe Casino, this venue opened on March 4th, 2013 and has quickly become one of the city's hotspots. 10,000 people visited the $400 million casino on its opening night and the success has continued since then.

Rock Gaming, which jointly owns the Cincinnati Horseshoe along with Caesars Entertainment, predicts that the casino will generate $100 million in tax revenue over its first 12 months. $21 million of this estimated revenue would then go to the city. However, Cincinnati government officials are expecting to receive a more modest amount in the form of $12-$14 million.

In any case, the Cincinnati Horseshoe Casino has already been quite successful. This two-story, 100,000-square-foot venue features 2,000 slot machines, 85 gaming tables and a 31-table World Series of Poker room. The Horseshoe also features four restaurants, including Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, Bobby's Burger Palace and Jack Binion's Steak.

The Horseshoe Casino is one of Ohio's four casinos, with the other three located in Toledo, Columbus and Cleveland. Back in 2009, Ohio voters narrowly approved a measure to allow land-based casinos to be built in the state. Since that time, both the Hollywood Casino Toledo and Hollywood Columbus have opened.
