For instance, if red wins six times in a row with the red/black wager, some people will continue to bet red in thinking that the hot streak will continue. However, the thing to keep in mind here is that all future results are independent of the last spin. One more myth that we'd like to smash is the idea that betting systems like the Martingale are guaranteed winners.
